• The Rotary Club Flea Market 

The Rotary Club of Springfield holds its annual outdoor flea market in April on the campus of Jonathan Dayton High School. The event will run from 10:00AM-5:00PM. There will be nearly 150 vendors plus food and refreshments along with a giant 50-50 raffle drawing. Proceeds of the raffle and the event will be directed to scholarships for graduating seniors at JDHS. The raindate is in May. • Nomahegan Park Fine Art & Crafts Show 

The annual Spring Fine Art and Crafts at Nomahegan Park show will take place on a Saturday and Sunday in June in Cranford across from Union County College. The show will feature many new artisans and crafters from throughout the northeast and beyond, displaying and selling their American-made, hand-crafted work. This free to the public show will be open from 10 AM -5 PM, rain or shine.

• Sidewalk Sale Days 

Sidewalk Sale Days will take place, rain or shine, in downtown Westfield, NJ from Thursday, through Sunday July. Downtown Westfield will be bustling with activity as retailers set up tables on the sidewalks displaying their bargains. This event, one that many people from the region look forward to every year, is being sponsored by the Downtown Westfield Corporation (DWC).

The Westfield Community Band, under the direction of Dr. Thomas Connors, continues their season of concerts in Mindowaskin Park on Thursdays, at 7:30pm. This concert brings musical selections from several time periods and genres within musical history.  

Mindowaskin Park is located next to the Westfield Municipal Building at 425 East Broad St. in Westfield. The event is free to the public; audience members are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the Presbyterian Church on the corner of East Broad St. and Mountain Avenue.
