908-996-3036 • The Rotary Club Flea Market The Rotary Club of Springfield holds its annual outdoor flea market in April on the campus of Jonathan Dayton High School. The event will run from 10:00AM-5:00PM. There will be nearly 150 vendors plus food and refreshments along with a giant 50-50 raffle drawing. The Westfield Community Band, under the direction of Dr. Thomas Connors, continues their season of concerts in Mindowaskin Park on Thursdays, at 7:30pm. This concert brings musical selections from several time periods and genres within musical history. Mindowaskin Park is located next to the Westfield Municipal Building at 425 East Broad St. in Westfield. The event is free to the public; audience members are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the Presbyterian Church on the corner of East Broad St. and Mountain Avenue. The Westfield Community Band is sponsored by the Westfield Recreation Department, Bruce Kaufmann, Director.
